Taiwan Day2

.jpg) Hello I'm back with Day 2 of my Taiwan trip with a part of Tulat Gang!;) After a good night's rest, we woke up at about 830am? To get ready for breakfast and also the day. The hotel gave us vouchers to get our breakfast at the Mos Burger a few shops away!:> After taking out the breakfast, we boarded the van to eat our breakfast and also to go to Shi Fen!! 
Here's the burger we were entitled to!;) It was a hearty breakfast haha and they gave us two extra coupons. Plus the iced tea they gave was also not bad heh
Scenery on the way to Shi fen heh. I always thought it was cool that the residents in Taiwan live so near to nature. Like there would be buildings and then a mountain beside it. Like how cool would that be? Though i cant imagine the amount of insects they would have to deal with. Hehe
We arrived at Shi Fen!!! Its this cool village? And theres a railway train path cutting through which a train will travel on every 30minutes.
 
We happened to catch the train passing by right after we got there hehe!

Shi Fen is famous for its Sky Lanterns so we decided to each set one off heh. Different colours meant different things, like prosperity, studies, love, wealth etc. I chose the lantern with white, pink, blue and purple! Sorry I forgot what my colours stood for haha

After releasing our lanterns, we decided to explore the other shops around there:>
FYI Taiwan was like 36degrees while we were there and we were all hot and sweaty ugh under the sun
Saw this little vintage shop and brought some souvenirs from there! All of the things there were so pretty I wanted to buy more:<

The souvenirs were carefully wrapped in newspapers and hehe I just really liked the shop cus the shop owner was really nice and approachable and he even gave us a free souvenir:>
After buying the souvenirs, there wasn't much shops anymore so we headed back and went to this fruit shop where we sat down for a little snack!

Calvin ordered this mango shaved ice thing and look at the amount of mangos on it *.* It was drizzled with evaporated milk and it was just so delicious!
Jaselyn ordered this Or Lua from there too and wow it was actually not bad although I didnt like oysters and also the smell of it. And i tried the flour part of it and it was actually not bad, the sauce and all and also the best part of it was it didnt have the oyster smell!!!
After that we boarded the van to head to Jiu Fen! It was an hour ride there and we were all just really grateful for the van's aircon haha

Shops!! I didn't get anything from there but the boys found this shop and each got shoes from there!
After that we had our lunch at this random restaurant there just because they had air con inside HAHA i swear it was f hot
This Ice lemon tea was such a mistake HAHA i think it was one of the most sour juice i ever had
They gave us this sugar syrup and I had to put like four of it in the ice lemon tea but its still useless and the tea was still damn sour haha

As I really couldn't finish the tea by myself, we decided to play a a number game to decide who was going to drink the tea! In the end Calvin had to drink finish the tea HAHA

We went to shop around Ximending after that and I think it was that day that the girls and boys decided to split up to shop for our stuff? And erm Sis, Jase and me kind of got carried away and ended up shopping on our own for like 40 mins? When we were supposed to meet with the boys about 20 mins ago? Hehehe and then we went to the meeting place and the boys weren't there and then we didnt know what to do hahaha. We asked around the shop we separated at and found out the boys looked for us HAHA so we stood outside the shop to wait and see if the boys will walk past? Thank God they showed up HAHAHa and then they were abit pissed off but it was okay:) hehehe #guiltyus HAHAHA
After we headed back to our hotel and washed up. Calvin came to our room and Junwei and Kelvin were too lazy to come down to our room so we decided to play bluff with poker cards! It took damn long to play and we took almost two hours?? Cus Calvin and Jaselyn played damn long as they were the last ones left HAHA and the loser was supposed to treat the others cup noodles. After that they gave up cus the game was never ending and we played another game i forgot what game haha but Jaselyn lost, so we headed to the 7/11 opposite our hotel to buy cup noodles at around 2am!

After we went back to our room and slept! And it was a really good day for me and I feel really blessed to have all these people in my life heh and also really grateful towards my parents for being so supportive for us and trusting us to travel on our own:) I'll end it here heh Day3 will be updated some day:)
